We are looking for a video editor to join Sugarbird’s e-commerce and creative team—someone who is confident in the world of social media and capable of independently and creatively producing visual content from planning through post-production. We are looking for someone who keeps up with trends, can see the story in images and videos, and is not intimidated by producing high-quality content at a fast pace.
Responsibilities
- Creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
- Creating animations
- Producing short, attention-grabbing videos and video series for TikTok and Instagram
- Editing, cutting, adding effects to, and captioning video content
- Participating in photo shoots, recording video content on set, and creating campaign videos
- Active collaboration with the creative team (photographers, designers, stylists, marketing, models)
Requirements
- Up-to-date knowledge of video formats and trends
- Confident use of video editing and graphic design software (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar)
- Creativity, visual sensibility, and an affinity for fashion
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram)
- Ability to work independently
- Own video editing equipment (computer and software)
- English proficiency sufficient for captioning videos
Preferred qualifications
- Active following and application of Instagram and TikTok trends
- Knowledge of international fashion trends
- Experience with a fashion or lifestyle brand

Tasks
- Campaign and lookbook photoshoots
- Taking product photos for webshop and marketing purposes
- Creating photographic content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Full-scale management of photo shoots
- Post-processing of images (retouching, color correction, scaling, export to different platforms)
- Collaboration with the creative team (stylists, models, marketing)
Expectations
- High level of photographic technical knowledge (light management, composition, settings)
- Confident use of image editing programs (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva)
- Creativity, visual sense, affinity for fashion
- Knowledge of visual trends on social media platforms
- Coordination of styling and photography, collaboration with on-site stylists and models.
