It is heartwarming to see how the meeting of tradition and constantly changing fashion produces such a perfect end result.

We are grateful to the Sugarbird team for elevating the matyó pattern to the prestigious and well-deserved place in today's fashion world, as thanks to the designer brand, Hungarian has become fashionable at home, and more and more people are looking for it abroad. This was exactly the personal mission of Hedvig Jagasics v. Csonka, the founder and owner of Sugarbird. For more than a decade, she has been working to make her goal not just a dream, but a reality, which is why Sugarbird's separate brand, the Czukormadár, whose story now enters a new level. Welcome to the Sugarbird Matyó collection, the unveiling of which the brand did not leave to chance.

We have been proudly working together for many years based on the work of the embroiderers of Mezőkövesd, as it is important for us to use the most authentic patterns and materials. This was also the case with the Matyó 2023 fall collection, which we naturally endowed with Sugarbird style features and will debut in more exciting styles than ever. We asked Edina Kulcsár to photograph our campaign, with whom we worked together for the first time on this project. Edina felt the matyó as her own from the first minute, which comes through completely when you see the photo material. We love Edina's personality, face and the fact that she also proudly wears our favorite pattern. Hungarian is already fashionable in Hungary, but we are doing everything we can to make it so internationally, and Edina's international personal successes and, of course, her beauty can also contribute to this. Edina Kulcsár shines like a true fashion icon in the campaign photo, which we can see on numerous billboards across the country in the coming weeks. As we learned, the photo shoot was not an everyday one, as the former beauty queen had to pose in a pool full of extra cold water until the perfect result was achieved. Edina has participated in many photo shoots and handles such situations professionally.
