"Many people must have noticed that in recent years I regularly bring personal stories and experiences into the life of Sugarbird. This is absolutely conscious. I showed where I'm from, but I've also told you several times that, for example, my grandmother and father gave me a loan when I started my business. I grew up in Újkígyós, we have traveled there with the Sugarbird team in connection with several of our collections, either for inspiration or for campaign photography, in October 2023 I surprised my mother for her 70th birthday with a special campaign photo shoot. A family portrait was born, in a classic way, which has already been processed by many fashion houses, the most famous of which is probably Dolce & Gabbana's joint material with Madonna. I thought that the balance would be balanced if I also showed my husband's family to Sugarbird customers, since my father-in-law helped me in the business life at least as much as my own parents. I have a particularly good relationship with my mother-in-law, the whole family has always supported me in my business. Not to mention how much their values and lifestyle inspire me in everyday life and in my work.
It is always very exciting for me to see the Zalaegerszeg region and the area where they live. It is close to my heart. When Márk, my husband, introduced me to his family for the first time, I remember that they held a harvest on the Henye mountain, where I have many fond memories ever since. That is also why I imagined that the campaign material for our Czukormadár Richelieu 2024 collection would be made there, among other things. The Jagasics family also has its own coat of arms. Sugarbird customers will soon come across this emblem as well.
We connect our Jagasics family portrait photography with the celebration of the founding of the state, baking bread, we included the entire family in the photo material, my husband's sister, her children, my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, and my husband as well, and there is no need to introduce Maja, my daughter, as she has been around for a long time the face of the company. The Czukormadár Richelieu 2024 collection will be available from August 19. This is how we celebrate the founding of the state, heritage and the importance of family.
To the delight of many, we also brought back the iconic white dress to the collection, which is perhaps one of our most beautiful Sugarbird pieces ever. This style practically traveled halfway around the world, it was also one of the great favorites of the famous Australian influencer, Micah Gianneli. Now we're going to show this dress a bit in reverse, as we're not bringing out a solid color version, but a printed version. I am proud to say that over the past 18 years we have succeeded in bringing Hungarian into fashion. We love Heritage, we love Hungary." said Jagasics v. Csonka Hedvig.
